[Notice] API Update: Extended Endpoint Access & Game Resource Now Available

As part of our ongoing commitment to expanding the capabilities of the MapleStory Universe API, we are pleased to share a comprehensive overview of the data features now available to builders.

The following API features are available to builders upon request. If you have not yet applied for access, please refer to the application section below.

• Wallet / Account Information — Retrieve character, collection, currency, item, and NESO balance data based on wallet addresses.
• Character Details — Access comprehensive character profiles, including basic information, owned items, quest progression, skills, hyper skills, V-Matrix configurations, and mission history.
• NFT Items — Fetch specific item details and their associated mission logs.
• Game Metadata — Access core reference data for items (categories, sets, exclusive gear), quests, skills, and V-Matrix nodes.
• Enhancement Market Prices — Monitor dynamic market prices for various item enhancement levels.
• Raffles & Rewards (Previously announced) — Track character raffle information and history, world-specific reward data, and server status.
• Game Resource (New) — Utilize MCP proxy support that allows AI agents to seamlessly access and interact with the data mentioned above.

▶ How to Apply for Access

Please follow the appropriate application process based on your current status:

🔹 New to the MSU API?

If you do not yet have an API key, please apply through the API Access page.

🔹 Already have an API key?

If you already hold an API key issued prior to June 8, please submit a separate request to have your existing key updated with the New Endpoint Permissions.

Once your application is reviewed and approved, we will update your API key permissions and notify you so you can begin development immediately.

Detailed specifications for all endpoints, including request parameters and response structures, are available in the Official API Docs.

In particular, a new MSU OpenAPI Builder Guide has been added, walking builders through how AI agents can access MSU data via the Game Resource (MCP proxy) endpoint.

We encourage all builders to review the updated documentation to explore and implement these functionalities.
