Hello from MapleStory Universe.

As we have continuously emphasized, our core principle is Contribution and Reward.

For our MapleStory Universe community, “Contribution” means participating in activities that benefit the ecosystem and its members. We aim for a self-growing community by rewarding those who contribute and invigorating the members with more reasons to help build a stronger ecosystem.

We plan on showcasing various events and systems to grow alongside our community. Until the official launch, we will refine these initiatives through diverse attempts.

Our first endeavor is the MapleSpread Legion, starting on Monday, June 24, 2024.

■ MapleSpread Legion (BETA)

MapleSpread Legion is a microcosm of our contribution and reward system, encouraging our Explorers to participate in content creation and vote for the content and rewarding those recognized content. Our goal is to expand the ecosystem and ensure mutual growth through the creativity and enthusiasm of our Explorers.

You can participate as a content creator, a voter, or a validator.

Any member can create content, and the content will be voted for based on its contribution to MapleStory Universe, and validated if it is inappropriate or unrelated to MapleStory Universe. Content that is recognized by the members with many votes will be rewarded accordingly.

On top of everything, active participation is crucial. Valuable content that you create will be the trigger for healthy interaction between members of our community and become the source of expansion of the MapleStory Universe ecosystem.

The MapleStory Universe team looks forward to seeing your valuable content make our ecosystem sustainable and vibrant.

■ Who can participate

• Content Creator: A community member with Welcome role or Orange Mushroom role

• Voter: A community member with Welcome role or Orange Mushroom role

• Validator: A community member with Welcome role or Orange Mushroom role

■ How to participate

1) Upload content on X

Criteria

• Relevance: Please upload content that is relevant to MapleStory Universe.

  • Content can be of any type, including text, image, and video. The key to receiving many votes would be to make it easy to understand and user-friendly for every community member.

• Language: Only English is allowed for content creation.

• Hashtag: You NEED to include hashtags #MapleStoryUniverse, #MapleSpread somewhere in your content.

※ Content that doesn’t include one or both of the hashtags is excluded from receiving rewards.

※ Content should be uploaded using your own X account. Using other’s account to upload content is not allowed.

2) Submit content on Discord

3) Vote for contributing content

If you find any link with inappropriate content, content unrelated to MapleStory Universe, or content that has been stolen from another user posted in the channel, please submit that content’s link through 📩 maplespread-ticket channel.

※ Voting with an emoji other than guided symbol will not be counted as a vote.
※ Please refrain from reporting content that is helpful for the community and relevant to MapleStory Universe.

4) Stay tuned for voting results

• Choosing the Top 10: The MapleStory Universe team will gather the Top 10 content based on the number of votes at the end of the event period.

• Hall of Fame: The Top 10 content will be listed in 😍 | community-choice channel and be recognized by the community members as a worthy contribution to MapleStory Universe.

※ If more than one content have a same number of votes and so more than 10 content are qualified as Top 10, all those 10+ content will be listed in 😍 | community-choice channel.

■ Reward

• For Validators: We choose 50 validators who report inappropriate or off-topic content through 📩 maplespread-ticket channel and give 10 points each.

• For Top 10 Content Creators: The members who are listed in 😍 | community-choice channel as Top 10 content creators are given 500 points each.

  • Top 10 content creators can promote their content on 😍 | community-choice channel for all community members to see.

※ Users may enjoy content on MapleStory Universe and earn MSU Quest points for their contribution to the ecosystem. MSU Quest Points earned for participating in MapleSpread Legion can be redeemed for rewards at a later date. We may need to verify your identity for select rewards.
