[UPDATED] The 2nd MapleSpread Legion (BETA)

[UPDATED] The Cheer Squad event start time has been updated.

We are thrilled to announce the start of the 2nd MapleSpread Legion (BETA) from August 5th! 

■ What is MapleSpread Legion (MSL)? 

Much like the 1st MapleSpread Legion, the 2nd MapleSpread Legion is a content creation and voting event designed to foster growth within our community. For the 2nd MapleSpread Legion, everyone can participate as a ‘Content Creator,’ ‘Content Voter,’ ‘Content Validator,’ or ‘Cheer Squad (New)’. We look forward to seeing your creativity and passion! 

■ What’s New in the 2nd MapleSpread Legion (BETA)? 

1. Mandatory Quest Completion: All verified users who have completed this quest are eligible to participate: [WITH MAPLESTORY UNIVERSE > Say Hello to GM in MapleStory Universe's Discord 'gm-gn channel']  
2. Provided Content Topics: We’ve introduced a few topics for content creation to help you better express your interest in MapleStory Universe. 
3. Cheer Squad: There will be a new way of participation starting from August 12. 
4. Tuner’s Choice: A new award category has been added.

■ Topics for the 2nd MapleSpread Legion 

To enhance your exploration of the MapleStory Universe, this season will offer some topics for you to engage with. We’ve carefully selected topics to allow every Explorer and Pioneer to participate. 

■ How to Participate 

[General] 

• Complete the [MSU Quest > WITH MAPLESTORY UNIVERSE > Say Hello to GM in MapleStory Universe's Discord 'gm-gn channel'] Quest to participate in an event role. 

[Content Creator] 

1) Upload Content to X: Create content related to MapleStory Universe based on the provided topics. You can submit multiple content. 

You may post your content on platforms like YouTube or Medium and share the link, but ensure your introductory post meets the content submission requirements. 

• Content must be in English. 

• Format is free (text, image, video), but text content must be at least 200 characters. 

• Upload content on X with the hashtags #MapleStoryUniverse and #MapleSpread. 

2) Submit Link in the Voting Channel: 

• Submit your X link in the [submit-and-vote channel] on MapleStory Universe’s official Discord server. 

•  Only X links will be accepted. 

[Voting & Validating Content] 

• Vote for Content: Vote by clicking the ‘Symbol’ emoji on content you believe contributes to the ecosystem. 

• Voting Channel: [submit-and-vote channel] on the official MapleStory Universe Discord server 

• How to Vote: Click the ‘Symbol’ emoji on the content you believe contributes to the MapleStory Universe ecosystem. 

• Report Inappropriate Content (Validator): If you find any link with inappropriate content, content unrelated to MapleStory Universe, or content that has been stolen from another Explorer posted in the channel, please submit that content’s link through the [maplespread-ticket] channel. 

※ You may vote for multiple content. 

※ Voting with an emoji other than guided symbol will not be counted as a vote. 

※ Please refrain from reporting content that is helpful for the community and relevant to MapleStory Universe. 

[Cheer Squad Event] 

• Starting from August 12, 06:00 (UTC), support your favorite MapleSpread Legion content. 

• In the Cheer Squad channel, leave an X link for the content that you support with a message of at least 100 characters. 

※ Participation may not be recognized if the cheer message is less than 100 characters. 

※ Meaningless messages or those containing inappropriate content may be deleted and participation restricted without notice. 

■ Results & Rewards 

[TOP 10] 

• The Top 10 posts with the most Symbol emojis at the end of the event will be reviewed and selected. 

• The Top 10 content will be featured in the ‘Hall of Fame’ channel. 

[Tuner’s Choice] 

• The artistic cat Tuner has joined the MapleSpread Legion! While Tuner respects the community’s choices, he also wants to select his favorite pieces that might not have made it to the Top 10. 

• Tuner is quite whimsical, so we don't know how many additional contents the Tuner will pick. 

※ If any content creators or voters are found to have participated with inappropriate manners, they may be excluded from the reward selection.  

※ Rewards announcement may take some time for a thorough review of content.

※ Deleted posts by Top 10 or Tuner’s Choice winners will result in points and roles being revoked.

※ Off-topic content may not be recognized. 

※ Any link other than X links will not be accepted. 

※ Proper hashtags are required. 

※ Content must be uploaded from your own X account. 

※ Inappropriate content will not be accepted and may result in penalties.

※ The time period above marks MapleSpread Legion Beta event. Some aspects of the event are subject to change for future events.
※ In case of ties, all content with the same emoji count will be featured and awarded.
※ Intentionally using multiple accounts to vote for a content and receive rewards is not allowed.
※ Please refrain from reporting content that is helpful for the community and relevant to MapleStory Universe.
※ Users may enjoy content on MapleStory Universe and earn MSU Quest points for their contribution to the ecosystem. MSU Quest Points earned for participating in MapleSpread Legion can be redeemed for rewards at a later date. We may need to verify your identity for select rewards.
