Name Redemption Campaign is Now Live!

Name Redemption campaign is now officially available. 


Through the Make Special Name event, Explorers had the opportunity to secure a unique name as an NFT. 
With this new campaign, Explorers can now register the owned name for use in MapleStory N, locking in the in-game identity ahead of the game’s official launch. 

 

While MapleStory N is yet to be launched, the name redemption process opened early so that Explorers can pre-set character names in advance. 

This is to ensure smoother gameplay when the game officially launches. 
 
The redemption campaign will remain available until further notice, which means that Explorers will continue to be able to redeem names even after the game is released.

■ Eligibility 

Explorers who own Name NFT(s) in their wallet account that is connected to the MapleStory Universe Web. 

※ Name that violates Operation Policy may be rejected to mint as NFTs or used in-game. Even if NFTs that violate the Operation Policy are minted, they will be unusable in MapleStory N.  

※ If you have any questions or inquiries, please contact Support for assistance. 

※ Please submit your ticket within three months following the official launch of MapleStory N. 

 

■ How to Redeem 

  1. Visit the redemption platform 

 

  1. Connect your MetaMask wallet 

  • Ensure your wallet is connected to the Avalanche C-Chain network. 

 

  1. Select the Name NFTs you want to redeem 

  • From the “Name NFTs” section, choose the names you wish to redeem (up to 10 at a time). 

 

  1. Click “Redeem Name NFTs” 

  • After making your selection, click the “Redeem Name NFTs” button to proceed. 

 

  1. Review and agree to the required confirmations 

  • Two separate confirmation popups will appear: 

  • Carefully read both agreements, then you must confirm and agree to proceed.  

  • Redemption cannot be undone once confirmed. 

 

  1. Submit your redemption 

  • After both confirmations are complete, your selected NFTs will be redeemed and permanently linked to your MapleStory Universe account. 

 

  1. Apply your name to your character in MapleStory N (upon launch) 

  • When you first create a character in MapleStory N, a random name will automatically be assigned. 

  • Once your character meets all the minting requirements, you can proceed with character minting from the character selection screen. 

  • Detailed information about character minting will be provided in near future.  

  • During the minting process, you can choose from the list of names you have redeemed. 

 

  1. Check your redemption status 

  • The status of each successfully redeemed name will show “Redeemed.” 

  • When your redeemed name does not appear on “Reserved Name” section, click "View On-chain History" button and check My History > Name NFTs Burn to find your NFTs Burn Status. 

 

 

⚠️Important Notice 

※ The details of Name Redemption campaign may be subject to changes. 

※ Redeemed names are permanently assigned to your wallet account and cannot be transferred or sold. 

※ Only the wallet that completed the redemption can use the associated name in MapleStory N. 

※ Reserved Name NFTs that have not been redeemed can still be traded on marketplaces (e.g., OpenSea) until they are redeemed. 

※ Once a name is redeemed, the corresponding Name NFT is permanently removed from circulation. 

※ If your account is deleted or your on-chain character is burned, the redeemed name will be permanently forfeited. 

※ Nexpace will cover all gas fees for redemptions during the campaign period for promotional purposes. 

※ Name that violates Operation Policy may be rejected to mint as NFTs or used in-game. Even if NFTs that violate the Operation Policy are minted, they will be unusable in MapleStory N. ※ MapleStory Universe cannot address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets. 

※ Account trading is prohibited under our operating policy. Violators may be restricted from MapleStory Universe service, and MapleStory Universe is not liable for any losses or damages incurred through trading attempts.
