[UPDATED] Reactor Item Fusion: Current Status Analysis & Future Direction

[Updated on January 20 13:40 (UTC+0)]

Item Fusion participation will be temporarily disabled in order to apply the details previously announced.
Regular availability is expected to resume next week, and additional information will be provided through a separate notice.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause while using Reactor.

With the recent increase in competition for Reactor Item Fusion, we are aware of community concerns regarding potential macro usage and item monopolization by specific wallets.

We would like to transparently share our analysis of the current data, the facts regarding these concerns, and the improvements we are preparing internally.

1. Data Analysis and Investigation Status

Upon analyzing participation data from the past 5 rounds, we confirmed that over 90% of participating wallets submitted 3 items or fewer.

This indicates that the majority of the supply is being distributed in small quantities among general participants.

In addition, an investigation is underway to determine whether any wallets participated through abnormal methods, and any confirmed cases will be handled in accordance with the operational policy.

2. Clarification Regarding Specific Wallet (0x555...)

We would like to address the specific wallet address (0x555cf872773845e4378ebb113a9509425eb8c086) currently being discussed in the community.

This wallet is an internal project operation wallet used to cover gas fees for all users during on-chain asset movements, such as item deposits/withdrawals for Fusion rounds and NXPC reward distribution.

To prevent unnecessary misunderstandings and increase transparency, we are preparing to apply labeling on the explorer so that this wallet can be clearly identified as an internal system wallet.

3. Future Improvements

Reactor is currently in BETA service, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused by the various issues you may have experienced.

We fully recognize the fatigue that many Maplers are feeling, and we are committed to making meaningful improvements.

Accordingly, we are reviewing the following measures to create a fairer and more pleasant environment, and we plan to implement them as soon as they are ready.

  • Participation Cap per Wallet: We plan to limit the number of items a single wallet can submit per round to prevent the possibility of mass monopolization by a few.
  • In-Game Play Requirements: In addition to the current Credit Level 2 requirement, we plan to add specific in-game play records as a participation condition. This will ensure that benefits go to actual gamers.
  • Adjustment of Operation Scale & Frequency: To allow more users to participate stably, we are preparing environment improvements such as increasing the basket size (total quantity) per round and adjusting the participation frequency.

We will provide a separate announcement with specific schedules and details regarding these measures once our internal review is finalized.
