Make Special Name is currently going on! 

 

Make Special Name offers Explorers the chance to reserve a unique name before the game officially launches.  

Follow the details below to participate in this event and don’t miss the opportunity to reserve a special in-game name! 

  

 

■ Make Special Name  

Make Special Name provides an opportunity for Explorers to reserve unique character names before the official launch of MapleStory N.  

The name reserved through this event can be either traded or assigned to a character after the official launch of MapleStory N. 

 

※ Details on how and when to traded or assign reserved names to characters at launch will be announced separately. 

  

 

■  Event Period 

Season 1: November 20, 2024, 05:00 ~ November 28, 2024, 23:59 (UTC+0)

Season 2: December 2, 2024, 05:00 ~ December 22, 2024, 23:59 (UTC+0) 

  

 

■ Eligibility  

Users with a Metamask wallet connected to MapleStory Universe 
 ※ Facewallet users cannot participate in the Make Special Name event. If you are using Facewallet but wish to participate, please refer to the FAQ for guidance. 

  

 

■ How to Participate  

Follow these steps to participate in the Make Special Name. 
 ※ During the 2nd Pioneer Test, the Daily Check-In event offers Alphanumeric Ticket and Name Length Ticket needed for name reservation. For details, please refer to the Gear up NOW Check-In Event. 

  

  1. Visit the MapleStory Universe Make Special Name webpage
  2. Click “Connect Wallet” 
  3. Sign the connection request and make sure you set the network to Avalanche (C-Chain) 
  4. Once connected, the Connect button will change to the ‘Get Started’ button 
  5. Click ‘Get Started’ to begin 

 

By clicking the ‘Get Started’ button and accessing the Make Special Name webpage, you can check your NFT holdings in your inventory and reserve a name. 
 In the inventory, you can redeem tickets as NFTs and check your NFTs using the following functions: 

  • Draw NFT 
  • Reroll 
  • Reserve (a character name)

※ High participation may cause network delays in Draw NFT, Reroll, and Reserve functions. 
※ All gas fees incurred by the Draw NFT, Reroll, and Reserve functions will be covered by MapleStory Universe. 

  

 

■ How to Obtain Alphabet, Numeric, and Length NFTs  

Get Ready for the Ticket

During the 2nd Pioneer Test, participate in the Daily Check-In Quest to enter a raffle for Alphanumeric and Name Length tickets. Raffle results will be announced the next day on the in-game Raffle dashboard. Winner can claim their tickets and use them to top up their draw counts for these NFTs. 

※ There is no limit to the number of Alphabet, Numeric, or Length NFTs you can hold. 

 

If you use Alphanumeric tickets and Length tickets in game, tickets received via raffles will be tallied daily, based on the period from 00:00 to 23:59 (UTC +0), and be distributed from 03:00 to 04:00 the following day. The raffle for the November 29 will be distributed from 03:00 to 04:00 on November 30.

 

Distributed tickets can be checked on the [Make Special Name page > Connect > Get Started > Draw NFTs]. There will also be an announcement on the [MapleStory Universe Discord Server > Pioneer Announcement] at the time of daily ticket distribution.

⚠️Important Notice 

  • Facewallet users cannot participate in the Make Special Name event. If you are using Facewallet but wish to participate, please refer to the FAQ for guidance. 
  • There is no limit to the number of Alphabet, Numeric, or Length NFTs you can hold. 
  • There is no limit to the number of names that can be reserved. 
  • Only names between 4 and 12 characters can be reserved. 
  • High participation may cause network delays in Draw NFT, Reroll, and Reserve functions. 
  • All the gas fees for the Draw NFT, Reroll, and Reserve functions will be covered as part of a promotional event  
  • Names violating the operational policies may be revoked without prior notice. 
  • Alphanumeric Ticket, Name Length Ticket, Alphabet, Numeric, and Length NFTs transferred to another wallet cannot be recovered. 
  • Details on how and when to assign reserved names to characters at the time of the official launch will be provided with a separate announcement. 
  • Once a name is reserved, it cannot be changed by the Explorer. 
  • If an Explorer who has reserved a name withdraws their connection or deletes their account from MapleStory Universe before the official issuance of the name, the reserved name will be permanently removed, and the Explorer will forfeit all rights to the name and associated data at the time of withdrawal or deletion. 
  • MapleStory Universe is unable to address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets. 
  • Account trading is strictly prohibited under our operating policy. Violators will have their tester qualifications revoked, and MapleStory Universe will not be held responsible for any losses or damages resulting from such activity. 
  • Any violation of the operating policy during the test may result in revocation of tester privileges. 
  • Access may be restricted in certain regions. Depending on your location, you may encounter limitations when accessing the MapleStory Universe service. For a seamless experience, please refer to the Terms of Service.
