2. How to Check Eligibility 

When eligible Explorer (or wallet) logs into Make Special Name web and click "Get Started", they will see the following pop-up notice.

 

3. How to Reserve

1) Log into MapleStory Universe: the Genesis Web to check your eligibility. If you see a pop-up notice as shown above, you are eligible for the '7-Letter Name Claim’. 
 

2) Log into Make Special Name with your eligible wallet. You can use the '7-Letter Name Claim' immediately without any additional claim procedure.
 

3) Names reserved through '7-Letter Name Claim' do not consume Alphanumeric Tickets and Length Tickets. Regardless of whether you own Alphanumeric and Length Tickets, you can reserve one name of 7~12 letter using your desired alphabet and numbers. 

  • When a '7-Letter Name Claim' eligible Explorer reserves a 7~12 letter name, the '7-Letter Name Claim' opportunity takes priority without consuming tickets, even if they own the alphanumeric ticket for the name spelling. 
  • When a '7-Letter Name Claim' eligible Explorer reserves a name shorter than 7 letters, the alphanumeric ticket will be consumed through the existing Make Special Name process. 

※ You cannot reserve names that have already been reserved in Make Special Name.
 

4) Reserved Names can be minted as NFTs.

※ To use the existing Make Special Name feature, eligible recipients must first complete their '7-Letter Name Claim'.
※ Once you've reserved a nickname through '7-Letter Name Claim', the system will return to the existing Make Special Name feature — you can reserve and mint names using alphanumeric and length tickets.

⚠️ Important Notice

  • Reward details are subject to change. 

  • If an Explorer who has reserved a name withdraws their connection or deletes their account from MapleStory Universe before the minting of the name, the reserved name will be permanently removed, and the Explorer will forfeit all rights to the name and associated data at the time of withdrawal or deletion. 

  • Names that violate operational policies may be restricted. Even if such names are reserved through the Make Special Name system, they may not be available for use during the official launch or on MapleStory N LIVE server to ensure smooth operations. 

  • Wallets or accounts that are restricted during or after the testing period will not be eligible to claim rewards. 

  • Details on how and when to assign reserved names to characters at the time of the official launch will be provided with a separate announcement.  

  • Once a name is reserved, it cannot be changed by the Explorer. 

  • MapleStory Universe is unable to address issues arising from incorrectly connected wallets.   

  • Access may be restricted in certain regions. Depending on your location, you may encounter limitations when accessing the MapleStory Universe service. For a seamless experience, please refer to the Terms of Service.  

  • Please note that users in certain regions may not be eligible to fully utilize NXPC rewards due to applicable laws.  

  • NXPC rewards are provided exclusively to users aged 19 or older. Users under the age of 19 are not eligible to apply for or receive NXPC rewards. Please ensure you meet the age requirement before applying for rewards. The company reserves the right to deny or revoke rewards if the age restriction is found to have been violated. Users are responsible for any consequences arising from providing inaccurate age information. 

  • If a wallet address that is eligible for NXPC Reward proceeds to unsubscribe from the MapleStory Universe Service prior to claiming, the user will not be able to receive the NXPC Reward.
